After losing my Nanny Jen in 2019, I found comfort in flowers and began creating designs that make for both happy people and a happy planet. Inspired by her wild ways, my flower design is eccentric, untamed and free.
While finding my feet I discovered a bunch of stuff that didn't feel right to me. Like how much (avoidable) non-biodegradable plastic is used in the industry and that most flowers come with carbon footprints.
So I’ve thrown out the rulebook when it comes to traditional floristry methods. I believe making people happy shouldn't cost the earth.
Floral foam contains the same amount of plastic as 10 plastic shopping bags. It’s also carcinogenic and can't be broken down.

Typical flower packaging is bad news for the planet . It's non-biodegradable, non-recyclable and, most of all, not necessary.
Lots of flowers (unlike ours) are imported from Kenya & the Netherlands (that's a
a hefty carbon footprint.)
